Tender God, refuge
of the poor,
You filled Vincent de
Paul with the strength
of the apostles to work
for the salvation of the
poor and the instruction
of the clergy. May we
who follow the example
of his life be driven by
unceasing charity to
continue the mission
of Your Son in the
world. We ask this
through Jesus Christ
our Lord, who lives
and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit,
one God forever
and ever. Amen

THE SOCIETY OF
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
OMAHA, NEBRASKA

"In His goodness and
wisdom, God chose to
reveal himself and
to make known to us the
hidden purpose of His
will by which through
Christ, the Word made
flesh, we have access
to the Father in the
Holy Spirit
and comes to share
in the divine nature.
Through this revelation,
therefore, the invisible
God out
of the abundance of
His love speaks to us as
friends and lives
among us, so that
He may invite and take
us into fellowship
with Himself."

St. Vincent de Paul and Christmas.
During the years and lifetime of St. Vincent de Paul, the
image of the birth of Jesus was not as common as it is today.
Yet, Vincent became the example of charity into the minds
and hearts of MANY who would follow in obedience to
serve the poor…   “For Vincent, Christmas was the holiest
day of the year.”  A time to give to those most unfortunate.
“Need, not creed, determined who was to be helped and
how”,  Remaining still in our times; to be one of our
MOST IMPORTANT Vincentian rule.

We Vincentian’s work daily to spread the Good News
to our brothers and sisters in need bringing all
to a closer relationship with God.

We publish bi-annual newsletters, stock our shelves with
great books and pamphlets on the works of the Society
at our Central Office.  We provide resources and help to all
who ask, and sponsor numerous fund raising events
throughout the year for the benefit of our tired, hungry and
poorest among us.   We make visits to a brother or sister in
need.  These efforts are a partnership with you, our loyal
associates, friends, donors and benefactors.

Please consider donating $25 $50, $75, $100
or more, that we may TOGETHER; serve a family in need?

Your tax-deductible contribution in any amount will
touch a family calling for assistance in the Omaha Metro
and surrounding area with Good News.  THANK YOU !
