Chris Cady-Jones

Chris Cady-Jones was born in Omaha and other than 7 years in Minnesota has lived in the Omaha area her whole life. She graduated from College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management at UNO. Her career in nonprofits began in 2001 through a Catholic Charities Volunteer Corps placement at Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly in Minneapolis, MN. This formative experience has led to an almost 20 year career working with nonprofits in service to older adults. The fall prevention program she runs received the Community Health Safety Award from the National Safety Council, Nebraska in 2014 and Community Health Innovator Award from LiveWell Omaha (currently the Wellbeing Partners) in 2019. Chris has a passion for helping older adults age healthy and well. She is inspired by all the Vincentian volunteers spreading SVdP’s mission of creating a more just world through personal relationships with and service to those in need. In her role as Assistant Director she is involved with donor relations, human resources and financial reporting. ​
