Colleen McLeay

Picture
Colleen McLeay was born and raised on the southwest side of Chicago where she comes from a large Catholic family.  She attended Mother McAuley high school in Chicago and Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL where she studied Communications with an emphasis in Media Studies. She worked in corporate advertising and marketing for large agencies in Chicago, New York, Dallas and Denver. After meeting her husband in Chicago, they decided to move to Omaha to raise a family. Colleen and her husband Tom have three children.
After staying home for 9 years to raise her family, Colleen decided to go back to work as the Development Director for All Saints Catholic School, a CUES school.  During her time at CUES, she was an integral part of the team where massive change and growth were taking place.  Colleen worked in many capacities for CUES including development, volunteer coordination, partnerships, events and marketing. She was responsible for key partnerships with that are still intact today. She also spearheaded the CUES young professionals’ group  which has engaged a whole new audience of donors and volunteers.
Colleen feels incredibly grateful to be part of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul organization where she hopes she can use her talents to help grow the mission of helping our neighbors in need. “Omaha is a special city when it comes to making change and I want our donors and volunteers to come here and experience this work firsthand.  The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has been around a long time and is still visible in many cities and countries all over the world. The work is incredible.”
